I acquired a Belgian Malinois puppy in 2012 and began training with a local trainer for French Ring Dog Sports at 6 weeks of age. After going through the teething stage and 4 months of training I noticed she was beginning to shy away from the stick and stop bitting. I sought out Bob through his website Delta Canine Services and during our first meeting I felt a immediate connection. Bob’s knowledge of dogs and the sport is something I feel privileged to be part of. His coaching/training abilities resulted in a second place Brevet in French RingSport.
My puppy is now is now ready for her Ring 1 challenge.
Thank You Delta Canine Services!!

As someone who was very new to the world of French Ring Sport, I felt it was necessary for me to find someone who knew the ropes and could guide me down the correct path. That is why I was so excited when I found out that Bob was moving to Phoenix – who better to teach me the ins and outs of the sport than someone who has decoyed and handled at the highest levels.
As a decoy trainer, Bob is as good as it gets. His ability to both explain and demonstrate safe and effective decoy techniques is unmatched in Phoenix. Additionally, his insight into how the actions of the decoy influence the actions of the dog has been invaluable in helping me to hone my craft and become a much more intelligent decoy. Under his tutelage, Bob quickly transformed me from someone who merely gets in the suit to catch dogs, into a certified and active trial decoy.
As a trainer, Bob’s experience and knowledge are irreplaceable. His intimate familiarity with every facet of French Ring enables him to create a program which puts the dogs (and handlers) on a path to succeed at the highest levels possible. More importantly though, his ability to read dogs allows him to foresee future problems and/or quickly diagnose current ones and take the necessary steps to prevent or overcome them.
Beyond the world of French Ring, Bob has an incredible working knowledge of all things related to protection, police, and detection dogs. His training methods are easy to understand and follow, and always aimed at helping you and your canine become a highly effective and close knit team.
For these reasons and more, I am very excited to continue my work with Bob, both as a decoy and a handler. If you live in the Phoenix area, or are looking to bring someone to your club for a seminar, I highly recommend bringing in Bob – the proof is in the results you will see.

If you are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled protection dog trainer, Bob Solimini will be an invaluable asset to both you and your dog. I have trained with Bob for over 6 years now, during which time his unfailing commitment, support and knowledge have allowed me to title both my German Shepherd Dog (V Olesko vom Sandstein SchH3, IPO3, FR1, IPO-FH, FH2, PPD, PDC, CD, AD, Koerclass 1) and my 5 ½ year old Belgian Malinois (Baron de la Cite des Boston FR3, SchH3, IPO3, MR3, AD, PDC), who is now a highly versatile K-9 athlete.
Bob’s mentorship provides the tools for success not only to the dog, but also the decoy and handler. His decoy training is truly exceptional, and based on the highest standards of French Ring Sport. Not only does Bob achieve a top level of performance with his own dogs, but he has also been very successful in breeding and training the ultimate working dog for either sport, police or personal protection. Baron was bred by Delta K-9, and therefore an example of the type of dog Bob’s selection and training produces: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ORr5sQqRLHE
No matter if you are looking to buy a trained dog, learn a new sport or advance your skills as a handler or decoy, Bob Solimini of Delta K-9 will be an invaluable resource. His training is always clear, consistent and easy to follow, even for the first time dog owner. Delta-K9 relocated to Phoenix, AZ, in 2011, and we therefore miss Bob’s expertise and leadership in the New England area.
A special thank you to Bob for the all-time mentorship and for giving me the dog that changed my life.

Hi Bob,
I wanted to write this testimonial so others could read and hopefully get off their butts and get their dogs and them down to train with you.
I / we enjoyed very much being in your club and under your expert guidance. Yes I was new to French RingSport and had my first Malinois puppy
Max who was 12 weeks old when I brought him to you for an evaluation. After that first session you honestly told me he could do French RingSport.
He bites hard, full and deep thanks to the imprinting he had with you. Very valuable, very valuable indeed. To think Max was doing defense of handler at 6 months old and no leash. Amazing to me and very attainable with you.
Thank you for letting us in your club, I hope we will always be friends and I look forward to bringing Max out to Arizona to train with you again very soon!
Bob your presence is missed and not only by me and my dog but other loyal club members that pay respect to you for what you do, what you are capable of and your passion to work and train our dogs.
Please keep up the training and the sport!
Best
